We want your search for a life partner to be happy and safe. We review every profile and respond to every report, but no system is foolproof. Your safety is finally in your own hands, so please follow these simple guidelines.
Know the real Tipda. A Tipda executive may call you on your registered mobile or WhatsApp number only to verify it, and will never ask for sensitive information — your OTP, password, photos, Aadhaar, PAN, fingerprints or any banking detail. Never pay anyone who asks for money in Tipda’s name: all payments happen online, only inside the official Tipda Android app from Google Play (link on tipda.in). Details are in our Terms.

How Tipda keeps you safe
- Every profile and every edit is checked before it is shown to others.
- Contact numbers are hidden and are verified by our team before the “verified” mark appears.
- You can hide your profile, block and report anyone at any time.
- Blocked and reported members cannot interact with you.
Protect yourself
- Involve your family from the beginning. A marriage joins two families, not just two people. Meet first with family, or at least let your family know whom you are meeting, where and when.
- Do not share your home or office address, or your daily routine, with anyone you do not know well.
- Give out your number only once you trust the person. Consider using a separate number for matrimony, or your parent’s number.
- Meet in public places in daylight. Be wary of anyone who insists on meeting alone and in a hurry. A genuine person gives you time and space.
- Verify. Check education, job and family through your own contacts and social profiles. Ask for a video call before meeting.
- Beware of money scams. Never send money, lend, invest, or share bank, OTP or card details, no matter how good the story. Nobody on Tipda is allowed to ask for money.
- Do not pay outside the app or to anyone claiming to be Tipda staff. Tipda staff will never ask for your password or OTP.
- Be careful with photos. Do not send private or intimate pictures.
- Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, stop talking and report it.
Community guidelines
To keep Tipda respectful, please do not:
- create fake, duplicate or misleading profiles, or use another person’s photos;
- post abusive, obscene or hateful content, or harass anyone;
- put phone numbers, links or social handles in text fields to avoid the paid unlock;
- use Tipda for dating, selling, promotion, or any commercial purpose;
- ask other members for money.

Report a problem
Use the Report button on any profile in the app, or write to tipda.in@gmail.com. In an emergency or if you are in danger, contact your local police or call 112.
